The maximum amount you can withdraw via the Faster Payment Service (FPS) is £100,000 per day.

Faster Payments can take up to 2 hours to hit the recipient bank but will arrive no later than the end of the next business day.

This is an industry wide timescale and unfortunately Virgin Money will not be able to specify an exact timescale for any individual payment. Recipient banks may have internal processes in place for incoming payments and this could also impact how long the payment takes to show in the receiving account.

For Clearing House Automated Payment System (CHAPS) withdrawals there is no maximum amount you can withdraw. There is however an administration fee of £30 for these types of withdrawals. If your request a CHAPS payment before 1pm on a bank working day, the funds are guaranteed to be with the recipient bank by close of business on the same working day. Requests made after 1pm will be released the following working day.
